Our commitment
Tiny Shifts is built to be usable by every coach, including those using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or other assistive technology. We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across the application.
What that means in practice
- Full keyboard access: every interactive control is reachable and operable without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator.
- Screen-reader support: landmarks, skip-to-content link, labeled controls, and live regions for dynamic updates.
- Text contrast meeting WCAG AA ratios in the default theme.
- Dialogs trap focus and close with the Escape key.
How we hold ourselves to it
Every change to the application passes an automated axe-core accessibility audit in our continuous integration pipeline. A regression fails the build, not just a report.
Known limitations
A full color-palette contrast review, including the dark theme, is scheduled with our upcoming design refresh. If you hit a barrier before then, we want to know.
